July 2nd. Yesterday again a great Radioshow went online and will be airing on several Radiostations, check for details the Radio page. Also a review has been posted from the Swedish band Hearse. And as a bonus we say hi to Jon who is gonna write reviews. So expect more in the nearby future. Don't forget that behind the scene I am fukking busy with copy/paste into the new database. Pffifffff with this heat outside.

 

June 30th. Yesterday finished the Radioshow which will go online tomorrow. Also made a Facebook account so add me if you want: facebook.com/twan.sibon and I use my own name as some fukker already claimed brutalism!! Also got new reviews send in by Kindra before she takes a month off. Read her stories on Maroon, Insanita, Tone Low, Cauldron and Earth Crisis.

 

June 26th. It seems that there aren't any updates done the last days, huh? If you think this you are wrong. Behind the screen a lot of copy/paste has be done to fill the new database. And as the site is huge it takes some time. And in the meantime also a Radioshow has to be made and upload reviews. And as for reviews two wnet online of the band Vow. They were happy with the review of their split with Stone Image and so send their other releases too.

 

June 23rd. After adding some reviews yesterday we continue with another set of reviews. Jump into the site and read the ones of Paganizer, Officium Triste and Funebrarum.

 

June 22nd. Monday and a start of a new week. And what is a better way to start than reading a review of the Aborted Fetus album "Goresoaked Clinical Accident". That was this morning and tonight I have upload 3 more reviews. Forgjord, IC Rex and Thorondir. Enjoy.

 

June 18th. Yesterday was the big day as Apple updated the OS for the iPhone. After a whole evening trying to connect it was succesful at last. But you are here for metal and so you can read new and fresh reviews of Ancient Wrath, Mystical Fullmoon and Fischel's Beast. June 15th. I finished the recording of the upcoming Radioshow and it is fukking brutal homeboyz! I kno it is a bit cocky to say about yourself but it is the truth. Just tune in next Wednesday! Behind the scene again a lot of copy/paste for the new database and I uploaded a review of the DVD of Amphitryon's "Drama".

June 2nd. A new month and new updates. Like I told you on May 25th there is a lot of work behind the scene to transfer all data into a new database so don't you dare to think there is nothing happening on BRUTALISM.com!! But beside all the copy/paste you can read CD reviews of Dawn Of Tears and Non Opus Dei. Rob went to the Maryland Death Fest and what he experienced can be read in his live report. Also a live report from the Slaughterday Festival in the UK, original written for Black Death Zine but published here too.

 

May 27th. Yesterday I received several reviews and I have to share them with you. And as a bonus you can also read an intie with Gylles de Fruyt of Soldered Poon. The reviews are from Avulsed, Blasphemer, Demented, Symbolyc and there they are again: Soldered Poon.

 

May 25th. Yesterday had a meeting with Mark about the new design of BRUTALISM.com and things are more clear now. Before the new and very improved site will go online you have to wait some months as it takes a lot of time to transfer all the info into a new CMS system. I will keep you informed. And today I added reviews from Alkonost, Arkona, Drain The Dragon, Furia, Memory Garden, Nachtgeschrei, Satanochio and the split from Skidt Hjerne and The Krushers.

 

May 20th. Today I received a live report of the UK Deathfest held on May 3rd in Leeds (UK). The review was done by Heinrich Corpsehagger Higgens and also published in Black Death. Thanks to you Gulu. Again Alex contributed a review and this time from the one man killing machine Bloodsoaked.

 

May 19th. Just finished the new Radioshow which will go online tomorrow. It is a fukking brutal one (again). Also add three reviews to our massive list. Read the meanings on Forsaken, Thy Final Pain and Carnal Leftovers. And a live report from Testament. But that is not all.... as a bonus you can read two interviews, one with Jacob of Anubis Gate and the other is with Luca from Merendine Atomiche.

 

May 14th. Yesterday a new Radioshow was uploaded and containing a brutal mix of bnds. Check it and and spread the word. But today I have uploaded two reviews done by Alex. May 12th. After a short vacation last week (www.duinrell.com) I compiled a new rdioshow this weekend, going online on Wednesday. But to keep you entertained I uploaded reviews of Maim, Portall, The Murder Industry, Methedras, Dead Eyed Sleeper, Daath, Point-Blank, Psycroptic and All Shall Perish.

 

May 1st. Still a lot of people can't understand why the man did the action yesterday. He killed 6 people and he also died this morning. But this is here in the Netherlands and I received from Italy two reviews. One of Acheron and the other of Agathodaimon. Read them and let us know if you agree.

 

April 30th. What a tragedy today. Like I told you yesterday we celebrate today Queens Day with all kinds of activities. But today some lunatic tried to hit with his personal car  the bus with our royal family. The tragedy is that he drove through the crowd before ramming a statue. He killed 5 people and several are in the hospital. But beside this tragedy I uploaded some reviews. Read the ones of Dual-Coma, Blood Red Throne. Pitiful Reign, The Boy Will Drown and The Agonist. Also a good and funny interview with Pesta Porcina!

 

April 29th. One day before we have a special day here in Holland as we celebrate the birthday of an old queen. In Dutch we call it "Koninginnedag". Nothing special only a day off from work, that counts. Also what counts are the new reviews that have add to the huge list of reviews. April 16th. Today I add a subpage under the Radio menu with banners from the Radiostations that air the Radioshow. Visit them and tune in now and then. Bringing it to the point that yesterday the newest radioshow went online featuring a extreme blend for your pain and pleasure. April 13th.  Everybody had a good weekend with Easter? For most of you it was a day off from work and spend time with the family and searing for the hidden eggs. March 20th. Just one day to work and then it is weekend again. Hope the sunny weather from today will continue for two days more... Nevertheless, I added four albums to the huge list of reviews. Sathanas' "Nightrealm Apocalypse", the split between Embryonic Depravity and Gorevent and two releases from ViciSolum Productions: Diabolical and Havok. Check them out!

Also got a preview of the new layout for the BRUTALISM.com webiste. Mark is doing a fukking great job and he is fine tuning the design and then we can start copy paste all relevant info into the CMS. I hope it will be online before the summer...

 

March 15th. This afternoon I compiled the upcoming Radioshow, which will be number 12. But beside selecting the tunes I also uploaded three reviews send in by Victor. So check out the Italians of Planar Evil and two discs from Dimentianon. And just before I am going to eat I received a review for the album of Ekklesiast written by Kindra. March 13th. Damn, it is the supersticious day and damn it is true as there went something wrong at work. But on the other hand some reviews were uploaded. Jacopo listened to "Introspective" from UKs Brainchoke featuring members of Suffering and Inimenter. And from Kindra I received reviews of Ektomorf, Searing I, Strandhogg and Black Lotus. March 5th. The whole world is in a financial crises but because BRUTALISM is not dealing with money I have uploaded some reviews for you to read. Rob delivered a review of Warganism and Kindra did not only send in some promo pics (which will be uploaded on my MySpace page) but also reviews of God Forbis, Kauan, Opaque Lucidity, Vinterriket and Darktrance. Jan 25th. Seems that Sunday is a productive day as I received quite a lot of reviews. Kindra submitted the Swedish act Frontback and Alex listened to Havoc and Darkcreed. Also four reviews of Jacopo who joined the review team two weeks ago. His first writings are Malnatt, Inferis, Verzivator and Fuck The Fatcs.
