Sudden Death takes a look at the dark side of human beings
Please give us a short introduction of yourself?
We’re Sudden Death, we’re from Italy and our purpose is doing a good Brutal Death Metal inspired from the best american band ever!
So how is metal life in Italy? Is it better in winter or summer?
Heavy Metal in Italy is hard to “live” because of so many differences between this way of life and our traditions and common convetions...it’s not the same thing compared to Norvegian, Swedish or Finnish lifestyle, where there are some conditions (ambiental, cultural, and traditional) which let the people express and develop a certain state of mind more than us...here in Italy the culture is quite repressive and everyone living in a different way than the mass is looked as a strange person and, the worst thing, is the lack of a solid musical culture...
A lot of power metal bands come from Italy. Why are you playing other styles?
Because we believe in the music as a way to spread and push out our nightmares, our fears, our energy...and in our opinion some other genres like power metal are not able to express these hard feelings at their most power...
Is there a metal style you spit on? Why?
We don’t appreciate in general the lack of passion, originality in music...we believe in the brutal side of heavy metal music so we don’t like all that bands which call heavy metal something that’s not HEAVY
What is your definition for: metal is a way of life?
Heavy metal is a way to look inside ourselves without taboo or prejudices...to look also at the dark side on the human being with all his perversions and fears...everyone fears something hidden and we try to express this through our music trying to face these fears and be stronger...
Why is this hard to understand for outsiders?
Because it’s not so easy look at the dark side of our mind, it’s difficult to face what we fear most...the large part of people would like not to think about weakness and death, and it’s hard for them to understand that somebody has got this kind of thoughts...
The Mafia is glorified in books and movies. But what is true about this?
Unfortunely the Mafia exists, and it’s not that “hollywoodian” you can read on books...but many gorgeous persons, judjes and poilitics, here in Italy gave their own life fighting this plague and it’s seems that something it’s improving...but it will be a long and hard fight...
And is a government also a kind of Mafia? Because they also steal, cheat, make rules etc.
Maybe, but it’s impossible to think about a world without rules...we can only trust in our governments and hope that they don’t go too far with their twisted tricks...
Do you think that a band must have a message? And what is your message?
We think that making music is a message itself...
A band is a kind of rolemodel for their fans. Are you aware? Do you behave mature nowadays?
Everyone has to think with his own head, and understand what is good for his life...moral is what makes you happy, immoral is what oppresses you...so we hope that the people who listens to us could “put a filter” on us and feel free to share our music-style or spit on it without feeling forced to appreciate it only for a trend or to follow their friends...
When did you (sneaky) started with:

When people say ........ about your band, it will make you happy and pride?
Yes of course!
Do you reward your fans in some way? What do they have to do to obtain some free stuff?
Yes! Going to our web site www.suddendeath666.com they can download two songs taken from “Injection Of Hate” and our ultimate videoclip, Captured...
What is your goal? What do you wanna reach in 2 years?
We played in many cities, met gorgeous persons and published a cd that makes us proud...also the press feedback are very good so we can say to be satisfied ?
Which things do you put aside for a musical career? Till you live from the music what job do you do?
Unluckly it’s very difficult to live with our music...so we are forced to have “normal” jobs in order to achieve the possibility to carry on our musical activity...
Is it hard to earn money for the band? Summary some costs you have make for the band?
Yeah, very difficult...but is our main passion so we invest the large part of our money to improve our combo!
Is it difficult to sell albums when people download MP3? Can you prevent this?
In our opinion it’s right to “try” something before buying it...so why don’t let the fans listens to some tracks before achieve an album? I think that if somebody truly loves an album he/she will buys it despite of the mp3...
Coming to the end. You have now the chance to say whatever you wanna say?
