Angelus Apatrida - Clockwork

Here is the third album of Angelus Apatrida, the best thrash metal band in Spain, now on Century Media. This album is a masterpiece of thrash metal, the perfect evolution of a band that has work hard playing in Spain, now is the turn of Europe.

The offer of Angelus Apatrida in this "Clockwork" is speed, aggressiveness, very good solos, melody, hate… with a wave of the Bay Area thrash metal, a little of NWOBHM, and of course the magic touch of these new four horsemen. This band reminds a little of Megadeth (voice, but a very angry Mustaine), Testament, Sepultura, but they have a different touch, for example there are virtuous solos in all tracks.

"Clockwork" is catchy and in the same time aggressive, above all is music for live shows, to break your neck, you can be in a battle and sign the chorus, very catchy, the riffs of this album are fast and say that these guys are very good playing their instruments, a perfect conjuntion between bass and drums brings a solid foundation.

I don't know what song is better, I like all, there are harder like "Into The Storm", "Clockwork", "Legally Brainwashed" or more 'heavy' like "My Insanity", and for the end in th especial edition a cover of Iron Maiden's "Be Quick Or Be Dead", with the touch of Angelus Apatrida.

This album signs that the thrash metal has an answer, it can be good for classical metal fans, people that likes technical metal, and of course for fans of Testament, Sepultura, Exodus, and European thrash bands… A very advisable album for all metal fans, and you have the chance of watch them on tour this summer end.
