Armour - Armour
After many EPs under their bulletbelts Finland's Armour has put out their debut full length album on Hells Headbanger. Not resting on the success of their EPs which I haven't heard yet. If you're expecting copy cat Hanoi Rocks or some of that hair metal bullshit from LA, you will be sadly disappointed. Armour plays traditional metal in the vein of W.A.S.P., Saxon, and Accept. The vocals reminds me so much of Blackie Lawless of W.A.S.P., another underated LA band which in my own eyes were different from all the LA hair bands. Another thing that would grab your attention is the cover by no other than legendary metal artist Joe Patego who has done covers for Motorhead or Angelcorpse. There's alot of sing along choruses. This remind me of days of Kerrang, Metal Forces and when metal wasn't all that diluted and coruppted by the mighty dollar. This is pure fucking metal!
