Axecuter - Metal Is Invincible
We find a work full of vintage sounds, bearing in mind that the intent of the proposal is to emulate the "traditional" Heavy Metal Old School, this work takes us back to the early 80 `s, when the dirty distortions, and some effects on vocals, were a constant in bands like Venom, Sodom, Slayer, etc.., but this time with simpler riff `s, I think their goal is fulfilled.
The most outstanding songs are "Metal is invincible", track that gives title to the work, "Too Heavy to Load", "No God, No Devil", the latter in my opinion the best composition of the album, with a well defined structure, but without falling into repetition, is where the band reaches the best sound.
To close the concept, we have "The Fires of Krakatoa", with a long clean guitar intro and well crafted, and "Heavy Metal to the World", a version of "Manila Road", featuring guest artist Mark Shelton.
A real protest against the "modern trends", as these guys call to other musical styles, this album is recommended for fans of "traditional" Heavy Metal , without "post-1986" additives.
