Beneath The Depths are a five piece hardcore/metalcore outfit, unsigned and formed in July 2012. Hailing from the small town of Runcorn situated next to Liverpool, UK. Blurring the lines betweenmelodic hardcore & metalcore the quintet continue to pave way through the local scene bringing with them fast, groovy riffs tied with blisteringly heavy chugs and catchy melodic parts.
Their determined nature and unrivalled desire has allowed the band to share the stage with key bands such as Dead By April, With One Last Breath, Silent Screams, Heart Of A Coward & more. Providing nothing less than a fast paced, energetic, enjoyable show for fans and newcomers alike.

From the start of this track the frenzy of beats and ferocity of musical prowess can be experienced. The intensity only increases, taunting and teasing the senses of its malevolent body. Compelling vocals simply scathe and breathe with their rhythmic addiction. Superb track!
Perseverance (feat. Simon Mora of Arcane Addiction)
The potency increases further. Badgering with a bludgeoning of antagonistic riffs the track holds significant ferociousness and explosive in delivery, so much so the after effects supposedly wear off, they can still be felt bristling under the skin. The keyboard melody is simply breath-taking and adds extremity to an already overwhelming track.
Revelation
The urgent guitar and battering of drums is prevalent here. The intensity, as if it could increase any further? Has indeed, turned to extreme urgency. The dynamics of this track holds plenty of ambience of the dark kind and will leave a taste that is highly satisfying.
Consequences
With a powerful tortuous hunger Beneath the Depths launch into another spellbinding track that holds a deep melodic vein that runs mesmeric through its core. Its essence is pure magic. It is a raw beauty that is the hard core - metal core element of harsh mastery. This E.P has been an absolute pleasure to listen to and experience. It is clear to witness the superior tempestuous rhythms and obnoxious beats contained within its simple, but effective cover.
Highly corrosive and addictive metal played at it utmost best. The music digs its way into the aural and remains there long after it has finished. Rampant with creative and caustic vibrancy that will no doubt garner the band further followers as their musical career flourishes.
One superb E.P from start to finish – metal played at its absolute finest! Chunky chugs filled with melodic expression and solid bass, all washed down with a caustic vocal onslaught – highly impacting!
My only bug bear with this E.P is that it doesn’t last as long as I would like, so an albums worth of Beneath The Depths, would be most welcome, but for now there is always the repeat button, which will be getting a hammering!
