Brainchoke – Introspective
Introspective is the second new album for these Brainchoke, new sensation of the death / grind from UK. Voted as one of the best unsigned bands in Terrorizer magazine of 2001, the four guys can now work with a cool label like Grindethic and we hope that they should enjoy the right level of visibility they deserve. We are in front of 16 tracks influenced by bands like Lock Up, Rotten Sound and Napalm Death, all dressed with a big dose of furious black metal and not only. In fact we can listen also particular and reasoned openings, richly arranged and near to something of the well known experimental bands like Ved Buens Ende. The whole album doesn’t know any subsidence: on the contrary, one of the best tracks is the last epic Past Six Years, worthy conclusion of a really good album that will be able to surprise you during every listen. Useless to say something about the single performances of the guys: simply amazing as all here. Check it out!
