Breeding Violence - Admordeo

Breeding Violence were founded on the 4th January 2012, that is just over 16 months and in that time have more than found their feet.  The live performance they gave at the Southport Metal Festival recently was sheer perfection and considering their ages range from 15 – 18 (Yes you heard right) is even more startling. Since performing in Meols in April 2012 the bands’ first ever gig which was packed to the gills, obviously they were a bit nervous, and although they have played a fair few gigs since then, last time round they showed no nerves at all and commanded the stage and audience.

So now it is time to review their 4 track monster E.P Admordeo. The cover is just as striking as the band.

AVP
Bubbling under the surface the bass and guitar weave such mesmerising anthemic structures and Elliot’s menacing vocals scour the airwaves with such intensity.  The swaggering huge melodic rhythms are powerful and show a brooding sultry madness. If you don’t find this intimidating then you aren’t listening properly!

Underground
This track explores a shrill intensive rhythm that is hypnotic and diverse and is a building haze of sultry energy. The whirling riffs elevate the immense vocals and it teases with an emotive bruising amid the deep resonating grooves that spark a very uplifting core of impressive melodic temptation.

Drown
This track doesn't just smoulder it burns intensely. It stalks its prey and then devours it in one fell swoop of madness. The vocals are growled as well as sung adding that welcome bit of diversity, whilst the drum beats resonate with a compulsive infectiousness.

Admordeo
The title track houses some fast melodious rhythms that are ripe for a mosh pit! Breeding Violence do what they say on the tin... the building flares of deftly carved tones ignite a certain amount of enthusiasm and it is evident that the guys really enjoy what they do.

Although the production on the E.P could be a little more crisp the band still manage to showcase their tracks with firm uncompromising rhythms and infectious riffs that pave the way for an enthused interest that they so richly deserve. Having seen the band perform these tracks live I feel they are more a live experience as this E.P does not really do them justice and besides you can not experience the frenzy of flailing limbs when listening to an E.P

Breeding Violence definitely need to be experienced live to fully appreciate their art! and I hope it won't be too long before they are back on stage doing what they do best, and certainly a band to watch out for! - Superb!
