Brutal Rebirth - From Despotism To Chaos

During the summer of 2007, in the dark cold formidable recesses of the south of France(!) a crushing and unhealthy horde was born. A dark soul come from another time to dump its anger upon the world; it was called Brutal Rebirth. A man, whose youth was cradled by a marvelous uncluttered and radical style metal, managed to raise this old school death metal storm... Since the beginning, indeed, Rotpiet composes and controls the band’s spirit, in its crushing hammering, soul fueled riffs, full of hate and darkened form. Balanced between an old school sound and the modern strength giving in to Brutal Rebirth’s power, to be a band in its own right, delighting young novices as well as old extreme backpackers alike. This first assault was primitive, hammering, with no concessions; made of pure death metal. It received a certain success in the old school scene and among the youngest amateurs as well. The band is also recognizable in live sets. Their work has been appreciated during a lot of gigs; the most memorable was shared with Napalm Death, Immolation, Grave, Belphegor, Nile, Entombed and Macabre... The band entered the Drüdenhaus Studio again in July 2013 in order to record their 3rd album. December 2013: Brutal Rebirth announced the coming of a new guitarist, J Pierre Battesti who enforces the war machine to bring victory on the battlefield and a new chapter has well and truly been carved in blood! Brutal Rebirth is now ready to devastate everything in its wake, to show the whole world that Old School Death Metal is alive, darker and angrier than ever before”

Let the salivating commence...

More potent than poison mixed with a thousand snake bites! Feel the track bite and it will not lessen its grip, not even slightly and for a second. The injection will strike the flesh like a rusty knife.

A fast exploration of blood curdling riffs and mesmerizing beats, will suffocate and strip the lungs of air! The guttural growls spew discord but will leave you feeling highly energized by its enticement.

The putrid lure of evil is never far away and with that rhythmic swagger, it has a tendency to suck you into its muscle bound arms where it will crush you to death.

Pumping more fuel injected hazardous waste into your breathing space – don’t fight it, just go with the staggered flow and drink in the corrosive atmosphere of pure hate.

Dark riffs pervade the senses aurally, stalking with prime evil lust. It’s a slow more deliberate track that taunts and teases with each rhythm. Sort of Freddy Krueger meets Helraiser, with interaction from Chucky!

Plenty of grooves and melodic swathes that are equally as engaging as absorbing! Unveiling a rich mask of unadulterated filth ridden menace and igniting pleasure from an abundance of pleasing riffs and gargled growls this will own you outright!

We know old demons from new right? – better the devil you know eh? This track truly spits the blood of its followers into a cauldron of burning bones. It’s intimidating and hypnotic with an endless barrage of beats that squirm amid an angry guitar that screams from the hungry flames.

A slow and angular track that stalks its way clumsily into the darkness and leaves a trail of blood behind it! Wrapping itself around a breakout of maligned riffs.

It just goes to show when some guys get together, only the inevitable will occur and total annihilation will follow, as in the case of Brutal Rebirth as well as Disfigured Divinity and Monument of Misanthropy. The pattern is that, yes they are all connected in some weird way or another.

All three bands are just virtually unstoppable in their musical potency that runs way deeper than its brutal core and all-encompassing devilish sound.

Being aware of its stealthy mass can only leave one feeling ‘unhinged’ and slightly wary as the epidemic increases.

Plowing through a series of emotions – mostly of a dark nature, one can clearly see the scarring of distinct psychotic tendencies take hold as a barrage of insatiable dark throated evil spews forth, smothering and choking the life out of its listeners!

Musically rhythmic and commanding, it stalks with a venom so evil it defies labeling.  This is so putrid it should come with a health warning and a triple XXX rated certificate, so only listen after a crateful of alcohol, as when its monumental riffs, beats and growls hit you, it won’t hurt as much as it would sober and at least you can die with a menacingly inane smile on your face!
