Call Of The Void - Dragged Down A Dead End Path

This is an extremely angry and aggressive piece of modern grind/crust from the USA all of which merge at some point or other through the various ferocious tracks. One of which, ‘Bottom Feeder’ simply pulverizes from start to finish in its sub two minute barrage. You feel a sign of relief and then you are battered once more by subsequent bruisers ‘Endless Ritual Abuse’ that adds a little post-hardcore into the mix and gives a slower groovier feel, albeit in a purely nasty aggressive manner.

Further flourishes of madness ensure that this is a straight to the point hybrid of some of the most extreme forms of metal. If Pig Destroyer for example is your forte, then take one step further and add some classic crust elements, the whole barrage of sound matches and exceeds extremity grind fans expectations.

Giving the listener their own ‘Napalm Lungs’ Call of the Void maybe new kids around the scene but they have purpose, angst and a delivery that matches any of their contemporaries. In recent times at least, this is one of the extreme metal grind and crust releases that really stands up to the most hardened metal fan, it has substance, and most of all it has a freeway pile up of loud aggressive tendencies…listen at your peril!
