Carnivore Diprosopus - Condemned By The Alliance
The Slam beasts from Colombia are finally back. Oooh yes ladies and gentlemen. That’s right, the freaks from Latin America are back after 7 years of absence, and a very good second full length, releasing their third full with title "Condemned By The Alliance". That is their release for 2013, and this is what you’ll have to deal with!
Slam at its best mixed greatly with brutal death, metal in a 60-40 percentage! Carnivore Diprosopus is back for good lads, and this CD was worth waiting! Heavy, groovy, and fast brutal death metal spewing from the speakers as the hearing proceeds and what amazes someone the most is that it is not just extreme to be extreme!
The riffs have a lot to say and have the ability to get stuck real easy in one’s brain once he gets familiar with this full! Sharp guitars that know how to shred, but have a tendency to groove, followed by a fat and heavy bass guitar that knows how to accent the fifths, and a drummer capable of making this whole heaviness flow, as he blasts and grooves at will! The growler’s performance is exceptional as mr ‘OS Carnivore’ really knows how to rip his throat off, better than anyone! The Colombian armada, who recently moved their base to Europe (from Colombia to Spain), seem to have out bested themselves with this one! Don’t know the reasons of this big delay, since their previous one was back in 2006, but I really don’t care cos this new full length of Carnivore Diprosopus made me crawl and crawl till my back almost broke in shreds!
This is a perfect example of brutal slamming death metal ladies! Either slamming it, or blasting brutal death metal, it haunts you! From the ghastly intro to the first song and then just chaos! "Covenant Of Satan Predators", "The Torment Era", "Alliance For Extermination", "New Order Condemnation" and "Colossal Destruction" are some of the songs you will listen to, over and over again! The production is more than exceptional, being fat and heavy as hell…clear at some points, but don’t you dare to think that this is a shinny power metal production. Every instrument has its place and can be heard clearly, but at the same time it feels like a big amount of mud is spilled on top, making this atrocity, more horrid than ever. 32 minutes of utter brutality mofos… sheer and unmatched!
An undisputed must for all the fans of death metal, and a truly bright moment in this band’s career that seems to have a great future ahead! Slam till you cum brotherzzz!!
