Cephalic Carnage - Conforming to Abnormality

The premier album from Cephalic Carnage - Conforming to Abnormality, certainly is just that, abnormal. Combinations of apocalyptic speed with truly disgusting vocals, to agonizingly slow breakdowns and haunting screams, then to some weird interlude-type stuff keeps you on your toes and guessing the whole way through. For most listeners, this album will take alot of getting used to. To describe this album in one word, the closest description I can get is "Chaos". Along with blastbeats, screams, and shredding guitars, you'll find tracks such as "Stepped in Cow Shit Blues", and "Dave's Lunch". These seem to be put on the album just for comedic (or in the case of Dave's Lunch - disgusting) purposes. Again this album will take some getting used to, and will most likely be an aquired taste, but you never know until you try.
