Coldworker - The Contaminated Void

Coldworker is grinding death metal that comes at you fast without giving you time to catch your breath. The band is a relentless war machine. The drum blasts fill you with lead like a gatlin gun. The highly-flammable guitar riffs and burning leads will scorch you like a flamethrower. Complete the attack with intense snarling vox that deliver lyrics of pain, suffering and death -- death that smiles at you and insanity that wreaks havoc on your thought process and re-arranges your notion of reality. Don't lose your grip!!!

"The Contaminated Void" is the first album from Coldworker, a band that was formed at the beginning of 2006 by Anders Jakobson, formerly of the legendary grind band, Nasum. Stand-out tracks on the album are the title track, "A Custom-Made Hell," "Death smiles At Me" and "They Crawl Inside Me Uninvited." "The Contaminated Void" was recorded in a band rehearsal room and later mixed by ex-Bloodbath member Dan Swano. Coldworker are still a new band but have already played shows with big-name bands such as Arch Enemy and Path of No Return. Coldworker are absolutely loaded with talent at all positions and this album is impressive indeed.
