Crucifier - Cursed Gross
Those who lived (and survived) in the 80s and still are listening to metal these days are thinking of the old days. As it is normal when getting older you look back upon your life it also counts with your musical youth. I listened to the early wave of thrash bands in the beginning of the 80s but evolved to the extreme scene we have today. But sometimes I dream about the thrash bands and I am always open to hear new bands who claim to play thrash. Most of them are modern thrash bands and you can skip them. But the disc I am currently listening to is very nice. Crucifier is hailing from Greece and they are really playing thrash like the old days. All the ingredients are there, fast and sharp riffing, screaming vocals, multiple chorusshouts, fast tempo with breaks and thrashy lyrics. We can talk about this records and fall back to cliches but it is just a fucking nice album released in 2006. And I am not the only one as the band is picked up by Ibex Moon Records.
