Cult Of Luna - Eternal Kingdom
The story of Cult Of Luna is going back to 1998 when the shape is giving form by guitarist Johannes Persson and vocalist Klas Rydberg. After 4 albums the band consist of 8 members, including the two aformentioned, and after 2 years their 5th full length is called "Eternal Kingdom".
Cult Of Luna plays bass heavy sludge doom metal with emotional sandpaper vocals. The long stretched songs breath a sinister atmosphere in the heavy parts while they tickle your senses in the easy going instrumentals.
The lyrical concept is about a man who murdered his wife and blamed a monster for it and wrote about it in a diairy. The band found those writings in a left sanatorium building where they rehearsed.
With "Eternal Kingdom" the band delivers a continuation of their heavy pressure metal with a twist.
