Depressed Mode - Ghost Of Devotion
Finland must be a terrible country to live in. Life is expensive, you have a lot of lakes, it is cold and no great soccer players. Maybe that is the reason why there are so many doom bands overthere. Depressed Mode is such band and started in 2005 and two years later they release their debut full length. 9 Tracks of mid tempo with heavy and slow guitars, keys that give the melancholic atmosphere and the almost spoken vocals. Vocals are done by Ossy (no I made not a type mistake) and Natalie and giving a nice interaction in the chanting and depressing songs. Why did they cover Burzum as they can write own songs that can be heard? Good debut of this Finnish band.
