Disharmonic - The Creature-Artificial Ignorance
From the South of the South (Almeria, Spain) comes Disharmonic, the project of Enrique Prieto, in the first days it was a one-man-band, now a three members combo: Enroque Prieto-guitars, main composer and drumprogramming, Javier Rueda-Bass and Bao Brurial-vocals, yes a female vocalist for a brutal band, and what a voice!
Recorded at Until Now Estudios owned by Enrique and under the support of Hecatombe Records, this The Creature-Artificial Ignorance is a true display of hate and wrath, with some calm parts with harmonies in this Disharmonic album. You can find in this album the power, intensity and speed of Hate Eternal, the heavy parts of Gorefest or Suffocation, the influence of Death and the calm of Aghora, and enough technical without being boring, and a touch of old school, what a mix!
Composed by an intro and ten tracks, two of them instrumentals, the intro is like a apocaliptic terror film chorus and is the prelude for The Earth`s Corner an example of what you will find here, intensity, speed, calm and variety of sounds and voices, the sound of guitars is hard and heavy, the bass lines are very inspirated and sounds very clear, voices may be one of the surprise of the album because is rare a girl as a vocalist in a brutal band, voices goes from black to brutal and with clear and sweet parts sometimes, it can remind you The Agonist, but not exactly the same. Some solos by Enrique can remind Death, especially in the instrumentals and in Go Away. The drum programing is not the typical inhuman speed, it can be played by a good drummer, in the way of Hate Eternal and some similar bands in their speedy parts. The production is clear, you can listen to all and each one of the instruments, work of Enrique at his home studio, where have been produced other albums of brutal death.
An album that breaks walls of the standard patterns of brutal music, maybe is not the ultimate newest prodigy of extremist sounds but for sure an outstanding album from an outstanding band, brutal death for the future.
