Dr Slaggleberry - The Slagg Factory

Dr Slaggleberry is an English three piece that is in business since 2008. This is their third mini album.

This trio works without a bass guitarist but you do not miss the instrument. Their music comes across to my ears as a cross between Ron Jarzombek – Bumblefoot type of math/progressive rock soaked in fuzz guitar. All the five songs have an outworldly quality with one axe playing the weird melody segments, while the other fills the space with buzzsaw fill ins. The suitably polyrhythmic drum style anchors the music beautifully. Watch out for the trio of Turnbull, Pethers, and Bateman as this combo has great musicianship.
