Elysium - Promo CD 2007
There are more bands who named themselves Elysium but this band hails from the Czech Republic. The band send me a promo CD with three tracks from their long awaited full lenght "Private Hell" which should come out this year. The three songs show a version of modern thrash metal. Nice growling vocals over thick riffing guitars who play good melodies and few leads. The emphasis is on the guitars and they get the space by the rhythm section of bass and drums. Tempo of the songs are not too fast but more up tempo beats with the melody and groove. These three songs are nice to hear and an appetiter for the full length.
