F.K.Ü. - 4: Rise Of The Mosh Mongers
I am back from my holiday, and I found a very good surprise! A very good band to resume activity immediately. Formed in 1987, by Larry Lethal - vocals, Pete Stooaahl - guitars, Pat Splat - bass, and Dr. Ted Killer Miller - drums, and released several demos, singles, and full-lengths and today reached me their fifth album, entitled "4: Rise Of The Mosh Mongers", they are F.K.Ü.
The truth is that I can not say anything but "I like what I'm listening to". Pure Old School Thrash Metal, with excellent sound, a perfect production for the product that is being offered. And if one thing is worth the note it is the freshness that flows through the whole album, not like some bands that use a vintage sound, to certify that they are playing Old School. "4: Rise Of The Mosh Mongers" has the power, speed, and good execution are sealed in a sound of this era.
The album begins with an intro quite well chosen, to go break yet with the first song, "Rise Of The Mosh Mongers" which gives title to the album, and contains a spectacular speed and dynamism to go on with "Black Hole Hell", in my opinion one of the best on the album, with a chorus that you can not stop repeating at every time. In "Cannibal Detox" they repeat again the same successful formula.
I should also mention the brutality of "Esox Lucius", as well as half-time "At The Mountains Of Madness", which reminds me of Sacred Reich in some of its passages, to return to the purest Thrash with "A Nightmare Made Thrash" and "112 Ocean Avenue", among others.
In conclusion, I sincerely believe that this album is highly recommended for fans of Thrash Metal, an album unmissable and a role model for many novice bands, if we talk about having clear ideas.
