Her Enchantment - Darkest
Burning Star Records have with Her Enchantment their 2nd Dutch band in their stable. Her Enchantment is releasing their 2nd album after the "Sagas" from 1998. When you listen the complete album you hear 10 songs in a melodic epic, death doom mixture. Vocals are divided by a grunting male and clean female. Tempo is mostly up and running with the various breaks for slow down or switching to a melodic part. Aggression is mixed with emotion in songs that hide a lot directions as things happen in the songs. Production wise it could be better but the album is showing a band that has the capability to write good songs.
