Herratik - Wrath-Divine

Maybe the band Herratik is not that known but if I tell you the band started as Abortus in 1998 and released two albums? Maybe it rings a bell and you already know what kind of metal they play. Herratik plays melodic death thrash metal in a constructive way. This album is already recorded in 2004 but finally saw the light in July 2006. 10 New tracks and 4 re-recorded Abortus tracks. Songs that are on the faster side of the mid tempos with bridges to the repeated chorusses or fast thrash parts. Beside the thrash element the songs have also a groove and nice guitars with good leads. But after listening these 14 songs there is a certain unsatisfaction. Maybe it is the length of the songs that the attention floads away. But also it sounds a bit the same on the whole level, nothing that really shocks or stand out. Individually the songs are nice but in the whole concept it is average.
