I-DEF-I - In The Light Of A New Day

This is their debut disc on Copro Records and it contains 15 tracks. I-Def-I is a band that is too soft for metal and too hard for rock music. The band takes some of everything in the music scene and is trying to climb the alternative charts. The sound is solid with the guitars and the rhythm base but the thing that makes it weak is the vocalist. He is sounding diverse and when he is not raw screaming he starts with clean singing parts. Ai, that makes it so poppy that I can see the 12 year old girls go weak in their bedroom. No, "In The Light Of A New Day" is a CD out of a dozen and certainly not reaching another day here at my house.
