Imbolc - Symphony of Pain
The first demo MCD from Dutch metal band Imbolc. They won a contest and so they could record this MCD. A good start. Their basic style is black/death but they try to put other influences as well into their music, as long as everything can be played live! I like the double vocals in the first song. The only thing I miss are the furious guitar leads! The songs contain good death harmony (Swedish) guitar riffs, blackend vocals, storming drums and variety on speed. The production is good and so the MCD is a pleasure to hear and some hope for the future.
