Inferia - 2 Unmastered Songs
Inferia is one of the original Finnish death-grind bands, influenced by oldschool North American death metal bands Deicide, Cannibal Corpse and Malevolent Creation. The two songs on their new Internet single are the product of Inferia's studio efforts this year which have so far resulted in a rather militaristic yet erotic sortie-ritual, balls-out grindcore characterized by animalistic grunts and growls on vox, wicked guitar riffs and aggressive drumming (although some of the fills are a little sloppy). Whether these songs wind up on a full-length CD or EP to follow up 2005's "Release For Burial Orgies" remains to be seen, but the bottom line is that fans of the genre will enjoy them.
