Kathaarian (Germany) raise hell with this full length CD. Playing obscure black metal in a straightforward way where riffs are lead by blasting drums, mid tempos and very slow parts filled with doom all fitted in good songstructures. Guitarriffs are mostly powerchords performed in a hypnotizing way. Vocals arise from the depths of cold darkness. This is straightforward and quite enjoyable blackmetal that can carry you easily into their cryptic temples of the ancient cult.
