Kunt Puncher - Take Drugs And Eat A Kebab

'Take Drugs...' is Kunt Puncher's debut EP, and once one gets past laughing at the silliness of the track titles such as "Rob From Halfords" or "Boon Is Fucking Ace," they might find that this small offering of grindcore is actually pretty interesting. Or they might start laughing again. Aside from the usual hyperactive music from the snarls/ roars and blasting guitars and drums that litter this album, 'Take Drugs...' is full of random sample moments and industrial influences that are more likely to make heads turn and raise eyebrows that ask "WTF," but at least it grabs attention. "Goody Bag Body Bag" features some industrial bleeps after the raging grindcore and closes on a silly quote from the film 'Dumb and Dumber,' whereas "Whore Licks In Bed" doesn't feature any erotic samples, but it does feature some dialogue that makes it interesting. "Boon Is Fucking Ace" is a complete mindfuck of an industrial/ ambient track that serves as a good interlude before the live themed "New Friend Request," which actually sounds more clever than the band makes it out to be. Altogether, it is a fun mix of songs that will give a laugh if not something to go nuts to for the brief grindcore moments.
