Malakai - Chasing Demons
Malakai hails from Colorado Springs (USA) an formed in 2004. The band recorded their debut EP "Chasing Demons" by themselves and containing 5 pure metal tracks. Fast tunes that blend old school death, thrash, grindcore and metalcore. I would suggest they remove that metalcore stuff and focus on the heavy thrash death metal. Nicely done with the tempo changes the vocalist screams, moans and growls the lyrics out. Malakai delivers a nice and powerful EP but they need to fine tune the sound more and then the next release will be a real hammer.
