Marduk - Infernal Eternal (re-issue)

For those who are into the black metal scene Marduk is no unknown band. But if you just step into the metal scene you ust know that Marduk is from Sweden plays blasphemous black metal since 1990. They have been kicking toward christianity with offensive lyrics and artwork and take a look at "Fuck Me Jesus" for example. Since they are from 1990 the have released a lot of albums, EPs and a DVD. "Infernal Eternal" is their 2nd live album but it has been released three times. Original from 2000 but released in 2001 and 2008 again. On this double disc you get 18 tracks and on the 2nd disc you can watch 3 live videos. The sound is good but I don't know how orignal this recording is or if they shaved and polished it. The crowd is reacting very lame and that is a shame as most of the songs are furious blasting till purgatory. There are some restpoints but the vocals of Legion are rasping and powerful. Guitars are layered with melody but not melodic and the drums are heavenly fast. Marduk is a band you like or not but this gives you  nice overview of their work till 2000. In the booklet you will find the lyrics so yell with them the next time you see them on stage.
