MoRkObOt - MoStRo
Morkobot consists of three members, Lin, Lan and Len, on guitar, bass and drums respectively, and their release "Mostro" could best be described as an electronic psychedelic soundscape.
Inventive guitar and melodic bass movements that are "heavy on the mid" augmented with hot square wave synth sounds, and an intuitive mix between analog and digital percussion. There's lots of mix between heavy and soft, with tempo and volume changes that go down smoothly. It all results in a highly-listenable intergalactic sound adventure.
Morkobot put out a self-titled album on Lizard records in 2006 before switching to Supernatural Cat records (Ufomammut) to release "Mostro." "Mostro" is a limited edition release with 500 copies available on CD and vinyl. There are choices of tan, red or green covers with art done by Malleus Rock Art Lab.
