Murder Therapy - The Therapy
Holy shit! These scizos come from Bolognia, Italy and I bet if the pope finds out about them, he’s going to crack!!! Do these guys follow the path of Christ? Fuck no! They follow the path of brutal darkness, that’s for sure. “The Therapy” is the band’s first demo and it could easily be entitled as “The Sickness”…4 tracks of slamming brutality, with a hardcore touch, ready to rip your ears apart. I really enjoined this recording, it’s full of blasts, deranged riffing and very aggressive brutal vocals, plus some great mid-tempo parts. The Italian death metal scene is getting stronger and more interesting all the time and Murder Therapy is a big example of this evolution. The band is sick to the bone, and manages to spread the stench of dead flesh all over the place. That’s the spirit if you ask me, because nowadays we see many bands coming to the surface, playing really cool, but with a lack of emotion in their music. Playing fast or being brutal just to be brutal is not always the point you know and Murder Therapy is very well aware of that. Recently, the band has signed to Deity Down Records and prepares their 1st full-length attempt. We can’t fucking wait!!!
