Non Opus Dei - Sem Al Diavol Va Porti Al Mal
Non Opus Dei (Poland) deliver their second full length since birth in 1997, creating a dark and obscure style of blackmetal. Songs are overall mid to medium up tempo dragging epical stories about philosophical and satanic in obscure sounding polish and latin language. Guitarrriffs create a wall of massive but melodical sounding darkness, while drums stay at ease in lower tempo and side steps to fast double bass parts. Vocals are as obscure as the lyrics with firm, raw and dark between clean and grunt. Some intermezzos of some folk and percussion elements complete this great unique quality release.
