OnceOver - Red Light Returning
Semi aggressive album but I feel it could have been more so. There is just alittle something lacking here. Personally I think that the vocals are just alittle to commercial sounding for what the music is trying to do or maybe it is that the music is not quite achieving the commercial sound to match up with the vocals?? All musicians play very well here but like I had stated there is just a little je ne c'est quoi that is lacking. Best way to catagorize this album would be to call it aggressive alternative hard rock with melodic notes here and there. I do like the why and where the emotional stand point of this album stems from and the lyrics flow well into these personal feelings of loss, sadness and dedication. Alittle to on the commercial side for me though and not finding anything out of the ordinary to hipe up about so in my opinion am giving this one a 2/5 with all into consideration.
