Phoenix Mourning - When Excuses Become Antiques
The bandmembers of Phoenix Mourning started in 2004 and now tossing their debut in the gint pool of metalcore. On this records you find angry hardcore vocals but also screamo and clear vocals, tempos that break and continue and short guitarriffs. It is heavy or more emotional. Some catchy parts as well. All together it is not original and I doubt if people will pick them out of the shelves. It seems like Metal Blade want to have some popular metalcore acts but with Phoenix Mourning they don't get the jackpot.
