Plague Angel - Raped By Lies
Sweden is known for its cold winter and so it is no surprise that you have to eep yourself warm. You can do it by drinking lot of alcohol, burn a church or play music. Well these 4 guys choose the last option (although they could also have chosen the first two...) and decided to play straight forward death metal. In 2008 they released therefor their demo with four tracks. It starts with an air alarm as a warning and if you neglect it you are hit by an overwhelming brutality. Nothing new invented but just some kick ass death metal. Good sound and blasting with groovy breakdowns. Think of a combination of Cannibal Corpse, Grave and Deranged. Raw growling vocals with high screams, not too difficult guitarriffs (shame guys: no leads) and solid drumming. I like this MCD but the four tracks might be longer as this taste for more. Plague Angel plays traditional death metal with no fancy schmuck!
