Primal Age - The Light To Purify
Primal Age is a hardcorre band from france that started in 1997. Blending hardcorre with a metal edge leading them to record a MCD "The Light To Purify" in 1999 by themselves. That year the band also stops but in 2005 they pick up the instruments. Now in 2006 the label Eternalis releases it again but remastered and with 3 bonus live tracks. The songs are energetic with raw shouty vocals and heavy riffing. The guitars could have been more destructive and not trying to play clean and tight. A lot of mosh parts are build in the songs as well as some uptempo beaters. Because the blend it could appeal to hardcore and metal fans. The MCD is not shocking but a nice piece of aggressive music.
