Regurgitate - Sickening Bliss

Were return Sweden’s gore-rocking darlings REGURGIGATE!!! For those into their world, they need no word of presentation yet for newbies one word of notice is due before approaching this slab - get rid of all your death, black or any other type of metal expectations out of the way, as this is one and only word all over the place here, and that word is grindcore! Reformed in 1999 after a 5 year hiatus and vomiting up release after release ever since, these early CARCASS meet early NAPALM DEATH aficionados present us their first of a series without Mieszko Talarczyk (ex-NASUM, missing after Tsunami in Asia, Dec 2004) at the production helm. A consequent change of studio and 26 songs later, and here is another collection of a disease of a sound that keeps on rotting magic in the grind world, aptly titled Sickening Bliss and presenting a retro sounding amp-fused sound complimented by a 50s-leaning artwork that is so juicy one has to hear to understand, see to appreciate, read song titles to smile wholeheartedly about (with “Detoriation of Grated Genitals” being my fave title pick this time around).

To borrow from their website’s E-card these are “26 tracks of noxious noise and atrocious audio-bile heavier than yo momma and catchier than her gonorrhea”. No more no less, so I hope the picture is clear about what to expect.
