Rose Funeral - Crucify. Kill. Rot.
The band Rose Funeral hides in Ohio and releases their debut disc. The bands plays a mixture of death metal and metalcore. To say it right away, the band is not showing anything you never heard before. So what you hear are the galloping drums, dual vocal style, shredding guitars, start/stop beats, mid paced and up tempo. But make all those standard items this a bad record? I don't think so as it hacks really nice away with some gory lyrics as well. In the middle you get the spoken song with the rain sound (4) and a piano instrumental track (5) but I would prefer that somewhere at the end of the album. Because you are just into it and than have to start over again, but that is their choice.
