Sadist - Crust

I heard this Italian band the first when their album "Above The Light" came out in 1993. I was catched by the technical and progressive metal they performed. Atmospheric, complex and aggression. I kept on following the band and in 1998 they released their 3rd album called "Crust". Released in a digipackage and sounding more aggressive and faster. The progression they made was again a step higher than their 2nd album "Tribe". The power of Sadist for me are the melody lines and the aggression. All done with technical musicians and a good sound. One of my favorit songs on the album is the track "I Rape You". Nothing personal to you but great to sing the chorius along with, haha. The Japanese version included two pop covers of A-ha and FGTH. Almost 10 years later Displeased Records is re-releasing the album but this time with the 2 bonus songs. If you have the album and you are not interested in the covers than leave this alone. But if you don't know the band than get this re-release and enjoy one of Italy finest bands.
