Scrotoctomy - From Torture To Putrefaction
Slamming brutal band from Mexico Scrotoctomy is a decent quality sample of brutal creativity. In principle, you can try and listen to the end without getting bored, because this EP is not too long. But the "From Torture To Putrefaction" album listens easily, it really does. These guys have achieved a very good sound, which is really catchy.
Of course, the lyrics deal about blood, torture, murder, sadism and other brutal death attributes and are present in sufficient quantity on this EP. In general just horror! Perhaps the musicians wanted to avenge to one of their wives and torture her with their music? But seriously, this EP listens easily from first time on.
There are no abstruse things; the album does not bring boredom, although the guys play very slowly sometimes. The next moment, their sadistic mood is changed, and they accelerated from the slow slamming brutal to speed blast beats. There are enough good guitar changes in the compositions.
There are perceptible influence as from slamming brutal gangs of the 2000s (US-way). There are a lot of good riffs, in particular in 'Sadistic Holy Punishment', a lot of guitar screams (flageolets), pigging and so on. In general, it will be interesting to listen to a future full-length album of Scrotoctomy.
