Silentree - Tree Of Silence
Silentree hails from Italy and this is their second effort since they were founded in 2000. The band is playing a mix of thrash metal with side paths to death or heavy metal but they have 1 weak point and that are the vocals. He is sounding various but he lacks the power to stand out and what about thiose Schmier shrieks? Guitars are much better and even doing some nice leads. Tempo of the songs go from fast to mid tempo or even a violin intermezzo. Musical there is enough variation to get through the 10 songs and the cover of Slayer is in an acoustic version and can stand the test, although Slayer has been accoustic covered before. But the vocals are the worst and if he can't change than search for a better one.
