Soulfallen – Grave New World

Soulfallen is a melodic black / death metal band from Finland, formed in 2003.„Grave new world“ is the band´s 2nd album besides 2 demos. The finnish combo has a lot classical instrumental parts in the song and they all soumd very symphonic. They link solid death metal riffs with symphonic sounding black metal hymns, following from slow melodic riffing. Sounds sometimes a little like Nightwish, but a lot heavier and brutal (and much better, hehehe... )

The band´s 2nd longplayer was released under „Off Records“ in Finnland. Soulfallen was voted one of the best unsigned band of 2006 by the readers of Noise.fi, and that with good reason. Now they have a deal with a label and on the up and up.

If you like melodic death / black metal, perfect rounded from beasty vox and heavy guitar riffing you are right at Soulfallen. Excellent album!
