Stabbing - Ravenous Psychotic Onslaught
Pleasant surprise for these Stabbing, brutal death metal band from the boundless lands of Texas. Formed during this 2021, the girls/boys come from multiple experiences that in this EP ("Ravenous Psychotic Onslaught") of only four pieces built well for the future.
It's hard to believe that behind the microphone of this guttural band there is actually a pretty girl named Bridget Lynch. And half of the rhythm section (bass) also belongs to the fairer sex Meryl Fry. Don't forget to mention the guys, Marvin Ruiz on guitar and on drums Rene Martinez.
'Splatter Pit' opens the dances of this EP that certainly does not need explanations and / or interpretations to understand what genre we are talking about. Bone-breaking riffs and a devastating rhythm section glue a truly guttural and impressive growl.
The title track does nothing but continue the incessant course of this work. Very tight times, albeit with some small hints of breath. 'Excrement Sarcophagus' perhaps contains the whole of everything that can be found in this mini CD. Perhaps the voice, at first listening, may seem somewhat annoying... but try to turn up the volume and give it its right space within the entire work. Pure magic!
'Gutted By The Beast' closes this sonic slaughter and, despite only 12 minutes of this EP. I can only promote this work with great enthusiasm. Well done guys and girls!
