Suffer The Wrath - Buried In Blood

This is a three track EP from U.S.A. death metal band Suffer the Wrath and you get over ten minutes of very decent death metal on it. Kicking off with the title track “Buried in Blood” this EP kicks ass! Great guitar work on the whole thing from Sinister Hell, some really good riffing throughout and a top notch work throughout. Bass player is Wretchlok The Destructor, catchy name eh! And the vocals come from Lord Payne, who does a great death metal growl. This band have been going since 2007 and are as tight as fuck, really decent death metal band. This is their second EP release and couple with a demo is a pretty sparse back catalogue, which hopefully will be put right with a full length as I for one would certainly buy it. Second track is “Sinister Dawn” and is again another great slab of death metal with some cracking vocals and great riffing throughout, the third track is “Slave King” and is probably my favourite track on the release, great evil riff and some really good vocals. The drummer credited on this release is Brandon Park but known under his stage name Drakon.

Well this was a wee treat this release, some great death metal from a  band I had never heard off but will be keeping tabs on as I would really like to hear a full length from them. Nothing overly new here but what you do get is some really well played music with some great crushing riffs and cracking sound throughout. Well recommended and if you get a chance to purchase this please do as you will not be disappointed, good stuff!!
