An album proving the sound and style bestowed upon us by the originators of heavy metal-is absolute and eternal! Taak have captured that 'retro' sound in such a manner as though it never went away or faded with the advancement of technology. 11 songs of what we now refer to as 'Doom'. Taak take the leaded guitar sound and rythms of Black Sabbath, and intertwined them with the melodic outerworldly atmosphere and grace of Deep Purple. In essence, they have produced a record that is unparrelled and unmatched in music that exists today in the scene. Deep blues rooted guitar driven, locked down rythmic drumming, with an very distinguished vocal style. The perfect record to sit back with close friends, enjoy a few brews, and say nothing-just sharing an enjoyable musical experiance. I have only experianced this with one other band in this world-Pink Floyd. Absolutley essential!
