Tasyim - Descendants Ritual
Tasyim is a band from Malaysia and is existing sing 1993! I only heard from them when they send me their 2001 EP "Descendants Ritual". The concept of the band is prevailing upon occultism, ghouls, horror and warriors. All those items are woven in blackened death metal. The production of this EP is a bit dull and should be clearer as their songs would come better through the speakers. The sound is driven on the frantic riffs with raw growling vocals. Tempo of the songs range from an atmospheric intro to mid paced to fast tempo with keeping the brutality in the melodies. This is something what Asian band can do very well, nice melodies with brutality. Only I would like to hear more shredding guitar leads.
