The Hellevator – Abysmal

The Hellevator with their EP “Abysmal”, which was published in May 2014, have all middle fingers in the air, one hand in the step and still hands free to make extremely good mid-tempo death metal.

The band, which is on the road since 2008, thrown a real piece of metal by “Abysmal” in the round. Although the intro (1:23 min) initially quite another suggests, you can hear really well produced death metal the way you want it. All instruments in an almost perfect mix. Each instrument at all times clearly audible, the voices are never too quiet or too loud. Sometimes maybe lacks some volume. Nevertheless, the band's music is really enjoyable because one finds a finished songwriting and it never gets boring so the band's songs will be heard. At any given time rousing, true neckbreaker parts. These songs will be live brilliant. On “Abysmal” three Songs hide with a total playing length of about 17 minutes, which was then added another two minutes for an intro and an outro can be expected and so it comes to a total length of around 19 minutes for the EP.

The Hellevator are among the bands that make it always new ideas in songs incorporate the pieces which remain varied and interesting and yet succeeds The Hellevator every song impose its own stamp makes every song unique. My favorite song is the first song EP 'Hell Awaits'. This song is on directness hard to beat. Just the beginning of the song with an access from the vocals opens all gates of hell. In the course of the song turns multiply the sheet between piss on the world and the feeling of melancholy which recalls that a struggle against the whole world would eventually end in disaster. While the song let you in a quite ruined condition, you will be immediately pushed to new actions by the second song 'A Lucid Nightmare'. Hardly begun begins a chase whose origins we no longer recognize. One is driven and do not know where. Next, continue, continue and it is hoped the song will never find an end. This feeling then runs by the third song too. And at the end of the EP you must hear the EP again. All in all, I have to recommend The Hellevator's EP “Abysmal”. This EP is absolutely made for extreme metal audience and one can only hope that they will soon come up with more EP's or maybe a full length, and until then you should visit their concerts.
