The Secret - Disintoxication
The Secret suggest with their bandname that they are the secret of today. I think that is a bit too much credit for these Italian guys. On this album "Disintoxication", their second one, the band mixes hardcore, noise, psychedelic with sludge. An intense combination with good production. Tempo is mostly in the mid tempo range but they dare to speed up sometimes. Vocals are screamed monotonously while the guitars are producing discordant tones. The drums are sounding angry and chatioc but the whole together is a piece of aggression that leads to a spastic form of noise.
When listened a couple of times to this half hour I came to the conclusion that all is a mouth full but swallowed at once. A lot of things happen but in the end you lost interest. So what is the secret?
