Toxik - World Circus Tour 1988

Toxik is a metal band from the 80s and they delivered 2 real speed metal albums. Both "World Circus" and "Think This" were re-released again by Displeased Records and the label also decided to release their video tape of the Dynamo Open Air gig in 1988. And as a bonus you get the gig they played in the Dynamo club 2 days before the festival. When I see the video and read the flyer they printed on the back of the cover I realise that I was there on the festival. Man, is this long ag, haha. The thing that recalls me the most is that the vocalist is not only singing very high but also he is looking like a queer on stage, haha. Anyway, the band performs almost the same set and that set is filled with stamping songs with the typical vocals and shredding guitars. The stageshow is active and the shots are only filming the band with little shots of the public. This is different by the Club gig were you see metalheads flying constantly and the vocalist on his socks. This DVD is nice if you want to see some history of the 80s speed metal but the only minor things is that there is no extra material on the disc. Just two shows and that is it. And track 12 is not "Evil Woman" as mentioned on the tracklist but "He’s A Woman, She’s A Man" from the Scorpions.
