Witchsmeller Pursuivant - Manifest Of Evil
The roots of this Belgian band counts back to 1993 when they guys decided to play heavy metal. This album "Manifest Of Evil" is their third full length. Witchsmeller Persuivant uses the traditional heavy with diverse tempos. More the up tempo songs with doomy sounding breakdowns. Also the semi ballad is something they don't deny. Galopping guitar riffs and good metal leads. And those leads are worth paying attention as I like those a lot. Vocals are clean and sometimes sounding theatratical (also his stage appeareance) and is helped with backing vocals in the chorusses. The songs are descent and will not win the price of originallity but they are pleasent to listen to. There are groovy and catchy elements which make it enjoyable.
